Amazon Ads is dedicated to driving measurable outcomes for advertisers and integrators such as agencies, HoldCos, and Solution Providers. Our ad solutions—including sponsored, video, device, and audio ads—leverage Amazon’s insights and innovation to connect brands with audiences across their daily journeys. Our APIs and SDKs power automation, customization, and scale for a growing community of developers, ad tech partners, and enterprise customers.
We’re looking for a developer-focused Product Marketing Manager to define and drive go-to-market strategies for Amazon Ads technology products, including APIs, AI-powered developer tools, and services. This role bridges product, engineering, and customer teams to ensure developers and technical buyers understand, adopt, and succeed with our solutions.
Key job responsibilities
Product Strategy & Developer Insights:
* Conduct research, customer interviews, and community listening to understand developer pain points, workflows, and use cases
* Synthesize market trends, feedback from developer partners, and competitive benchmarks to inform product roadmap
* Represent the voice of the developer across product planning and launch stages
* Identify and prioritize messaging needs across different technical audiences (developers, architects, CTOs)
Go-to-Market Planning & Execution
* Create GTM plans for API and SDK launches, updates, and technical features
* Create compelling marketing collateral, including sales materials, case studies, blog posts, product videos, and web content
* Own developer messaging and positioning across channels
* Coordinate launch readiness across documentation, training, sales, and marketing teams
Enablement & Community Engagement
* Collaborate with Sales & Partner GTM teams and Solutions Architects to amplify community engagement
* Build feedback loops via GitHub, early access programs, and developer surveys
* Guide prioritization of reference implementations and technical success stories
* Drive adoption and usage metrics through targeted outreach, education, and onboarding
Cross-functional Leadership:
* Collaborate with Product, Sales, Brand/Events, Regional Marketing, PR, Research, and Training teams
* Drive stakeholder alignment through regular engagement and clear communication of product vision
* Support effective Alpha/Beta testing programs and gather post-launch customer feedback
* Guide the prioritization and development of case studies and research initiatives
Success Metrics:
* Developer adoption, activation, and usage of APIs/SDKs
* Product and content engagement metrics (documentation usage, GitHub activity, event engagement, etc.)
* Developer satisfaction (CSAT, NPS, qualitative feedback)
* Quality and impact of content
* Contribution to product roadmap via developer insights
About the team
The Measurement Product Marketing group sits within the broader product marketing org and leads the inbound research, messaging, positioning, and GTM activations for the portfolio of over 60+ Amazon Advertising’s Measurement solutions including: Amazon Marketing Cloud, 1P & 3P measurement , reporting, APIs, media planning, MMM, and attribution products.
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
