Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in C or C++ programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
3 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
5 years of experience in firmware and embedded system design.
Experience with Python and C/C++, and in developing and implementing firmware and DSP algorithms on SOCs.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Develop firmware and signal processing algorithms for health sensors.
Enhance signal processing algorithms in order to filter noise and ensure accurate, efficient processing of data.
Collaborate with hardware engineering to ensure that firmware and algorithms are integrated with the hardware architecture.
Design, develop, implement, and test software components that allow real-time signal processing and filtering, noise reduction, as well as data processing.
