Minimum qualifications:

6 years of experience with cloud native architecture and cyber-security in a customer-facing or support role.
Experience with Cloud Identity and Access Management, network security, data security, regulatory compliance frameworks, or creating security architectures.
Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
Certification in cloud or security industry.
Knowledge of product and solution market trends in the cyber-security industry (e.g., ransomware, attack frameworks, zero trust, etc.).
Knowledge of Cloud Security (e.g., data security and infrastructure security).

In this role, you will partner with technical Sales teams as a Security and Compliance subject matter expert to differentiate Google Cloud to our customers. You will help prospective and existing customers and partners understand the power of Google Cloud, develop creative cloud solutions and architectures to solve their business challenges, engage in proofs-of-concepts, and troubleshoot any technical questions and roadblocks related to technical security and compliance. You will use your expertise and presentation skills to engage with customers to understand their business and technical requirements, and present practical and useful solutions on Google Cloud. You will have excellent technical, communication and organizational skills. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical security and compliance blockers.
Share in-depth expertise in security, privacy and regulatory compliance to support the technical relationship with customers, including technology advocacy, supporting bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and partnering directly with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption to Google Cloud.
Work directly with Google Cloud products to demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer and partner environments.
Contribute to programs in areas of security, privacy, and compliance with internal teams, (e.g., Marketing, Product, Legal, and Policy). Drive enablement internally to create customer best practices.
Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required, acting as a public advocate for Google Cloud.
