Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  • Experience working with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with big data platforms and large volume data analytics.
  • Experience in the online advertising industry.
  • Ability to construct complex yet efficient SQL queries.
  • Ability to work on their own and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Based on the evolving needs of our ads customers, we partner with Sales, Product and Engineering teams within Google to develop better solutions, tools, and services to improve our products and enhance our client experience. The Customer Solutions Engineering team is responsible for developing innovative, cutting-edge solutions to the business problems faced by the world’s largest advertisers. We work as a critical technical partner with our sales teams where your coding abilities, communication skills, desire to solve complex problems, passion for scale and big data, and business acumen will all be leveraged to answer questions most don’t even know to ask. Your solutions will take many forms, from prototypes and demos to education - all with the technology resources of Google to back it up.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $97,500-$140,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end technical implementations, provide technical guidance and share best practices to achieve advertiser business goals.
  • Work with Sales to identify business opportunities leveraging Google Marketing Platform solutions supported by the team.
  • Collect requirements, create design plans and implement complex, cross-product customized solutions with customers.
  • Manage technical relationships with a select client portfolio.
