Senior Staff Software Engineer, Hybrid Connectivity

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 8 years of experience in software development.
  
• 8 years of experience in network architecture and design, including network connectivity principles.
• 8 years of experience in designing, building, and operating distributed systems.
• 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
  
• 5 years of experience in C++ for network systems development.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  
• 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
• 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
  
• 3 years of experience working in an organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $248,000-$349,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams building available and reliable network infrastructure services that scale enterprise customers operating on a public cloud.
• Collaborate with engineering managers, software engineers, and product managers in the Cloud Networking organization.
  
• Drive software best practices and architectural considerations on a project-wide level.
  
• Work with management to mentor and grow all members of the team.
