We are looking for a Corporate Shipping Specialist to join our growing team in Santa Clara. You'll work with internal customers to prepare domestic and international shipments to include the following: auditing ship request forms, physical inspection of items for accuracy, shipment packing (cartons and pallets), generate & process required shipping documents/labels, and booking shipments with our couriers/carriers.
What You'll Be Doing:
Coordinates expedited shipments (e.g., Speed-of-light, Hand-carries, Express services, overnight services, ground, etc.) with carriers and destinations to set expectations for internal customers.
Physically inspecting items for shipping and packing them appropriately.
Processing shipments via various couriers and forwarders.
Works with Global Trade Compliance Department to ensure all international shipping processes and documentation are accurate, and compliant for specific country requirements, as well as all Import/Export regulations.
Follow lithium battery shipping requirements issued by IATA and Dept of Transportation Dangerous goods regulations. Provide excellent customer service by telecom, email and interpersonal. Provide mentorship to customers on all shipping related inquiries and questions.
Providing customer service via email and phone.
Process & close shipments in NVIDIA’s Ship Request system.
Logistics support for exceptions and documentation modification as needed.
What We Need to See:
High School diploma or equivalent experience.
5+ years of shipping experience in international and domestic transportation/logistics, working with import/export documentation and regulations.
Must work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with dynamic requirements.
Ability to multitask, identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, work overtime as needed.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, follow procedures & instruction closely.
Proficient in MS Office tools such as Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience working or trainable with SAP and other applicable apps and software.
Experience working with couriers/carrier’s booking system and their customer service (FedEx, DHL, UPS and Forwarders).
Knowledge of International Transportation, Trade regulations, Incoterm and AES filing.
Great teammate with exceptional attendance, ability to support team members as needed with open communication.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and physically pack/move shipments in a safe manner.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience working in High Tech industry, handling of data center servers and knowledge of NPI products.
Ability to use SAP, Excel, Word, MS Office, knowledge of INCOTERMS.
Demonstrate excellent communication and people skills.
College degree.

The base salary range is 48,000 USD - 78,200 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
