The GenAIID mission is to drive startup innovation by making AWS the preferred GenAI Platform for startups to experiment, build and scale their products. We are a team of strategists, scientists, engineers, and architects working closely with worlds’ leading startups across GenAI model providers, GenAI tooling and applications. We partner closely with the startup to address their GenAI infrastructure needs, evolve their GenAI product and infuse GenAI into their existing SaaS applications. In this process we provide guidance on best practices for applying generative AI responsibly and cost efficiently.

GenAIID is looking for an experienced business-oriented technologist who possesses a unique balance of business knowledge, effective interpersonal skills, and some technological depth in the following areas: analytics/big data, machine learning and generative artificial intelligence and have experience with startups. As a GenAI strategist you will help outline and scope startup technical and business needs, assess GenAI capabilities, help explore the art of the possible, and develop a roadmap to deliver business value in the most effective way. You will regularly engage with startup technical and non-technical founders, and their respective team members. You will also work with startup ecosystem players (incubators, accelerators) on as needed basis. You will be responsible for building relationships, capturing opportunities, driving engagement, and delivering business value. You will also be leading pilots and experiments with leading startups to establish AWS as a thought leader in the up and coming technology (robotics, new model providers).

You will act as a startup advocate, understanding unique startup customer needs, and implementing needed changes to the startups program scope, delivery, improving resulting customer experience.

Key job responsibilities
- Drive large, complex startup GenAI engagements from ideation, through vision building and scoping, all the way to closure and into delivery
- Act as a trusted advisor to startups and help them to explore the art of the possible, and to develop a roadmap to deliver business value in the most effective way
- Use deep understanding of startups GenAI ecosystem and startup evolving customer needs to drive improvements to startups program and resulting customer experience
- Drive experimentation pilots from ideation to execution in emerging tech (e.g. robotics)
- Identify and document customer insights and trends to transform the SUP GTM offering and business operations

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- * Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or related field
- * 7+ years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in startups
- * 8+ years of technology domain experience in LLM, Machine Learning, AI, and GenAI
- * Experience adopting GenAI solutions, tooling or applications
- * Experience in management consulting or related advisory type of work

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in a product function of a GenAI startup driving the product lifecycle
- Passion for educating, designing, and building solutions for a diverse and challenging set of customers ranging from midsized organizations to Fortune 100 customers
- Advanced degree desired (e.g., MBA, MS)
- Experience launching technically complex programs, projects, or related work that include the following: big data, analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
