Solutions Engineer III, Demos, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
• 7 years of experience working with web frameworks and the associated application/database stacks (e.g., React, Nginx, Apache, MySQL, Postgres).
• 2 years of experience working with GenAI technologies (e.g., leveraging Large Language Models in application development).
• Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience with cloud technologies, such as architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments.
• 10 years of experience using Machine Learning and building solutions.
• 10 years of experience working with systems (e.g., Linux, Unix, Windows).
• 10 years of experience in an analytical role such as business intelligence, data analytics, or statistics.

As a Solutions Engineer with a core focus on Cloud Applications and Infrastructure, you will be a technical storyteller who can turn ideas into innovation, building engaging demos that showcase the potential of Google Cloud for our customers.

In this role, you will have knowledge of IT infrastructure, software engineering and how AI is transforming both. You will plan, execute, and balance multiple projects. You will work with field teams, solutions, customers and Google Engineering teams to produce secure and scalable technical demonstrations to be delivered in high-profile forums before scaling them out to the global technical sales organization.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $227,000-$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Work as part of a broader Go-To-Market team to develop engaging demonstrations of Google Cloud capabilities across AI, data, and core infrastructure addressing topics across multiple industries.
• Create and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog posts, sample code, and presentations adapted to technical, business, and executive partners.
• Provide customer and market feedback to Product, Engineering and Marketing teams to help define product direction.
