Prime Video Global Operations Programs & Strategy is facilitating and driving operational excellence across Prime Video streaming to ensure all teams are able to provide the best-possible locally relevant customer experience. We are here to ensure Prime Video is able to deliver on the promise of a globally consistent customer experience through centralized program management across globally connected priorities.
As a Program Lead in our Global Operations Program & Strategy (OPS) org, you will play a critical role in ensuring effective project management practices and the successful delivery of projects that are connected to some of our largest Global Business Priorities across Prime Video Marketing Organizations.
An effective Program Leader in this team will become the company’s domain expert on successful launches and the single source of truth for each new title’s launch. As we scale launch titles across regions and across channels, you will partner with a team of Launch Managers who will be directly responsible for the slate of our Original titles originating outside of the United States and ensuring repeated successful global launches to customers all over the world.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about the large opportunity that our platform presents, with a track record of success in building workflows from scratch. They will have thrived and succeeded in delivering repeatable operational frameworks in a high growth environment, where priorities and deadlines shift quickly. They are a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and compellingly, and challenge existing models to introduce innovating thinking with strong customer focus.
They understand how to drive a high level of focus and operational excellence across teams and stakeholders, with clear escalation to leadership. While the ideal candidate is very comfortable with autonomy, they are skilled at collaboration across teams and understanding how to both influence, and work through other groups to meet business goals. They are willing and able to handle administrative day-to-day while also collaborating and contributing to process planning and rollouts for future growth potential and efficiency.
You will be responsible for managing larger initiatives that span organizations and geographies in support of launching marketing materials for Amazon Originals. You are accountable for overall program communication and governance mechanisms, as well as tactically driving teams in and outside your organization to deliver. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining project management standards, processes, and tools, that provide updates to project teams and senior management. Your role will involve overseeing the project governance mechanisms, monitoring program performance, and driving continuous improvement across the project portfolio.
Key job responsibilities
- Project Governance: Establish and enforce project governance processes, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and best practices. Develop project documentation, templates, and guidelines to facilitate consistent project execution.
- Project Performance Monitoring: Track and report on project progress, milestones, and deliverables. Conduct regular project reviews and identify potential risks and issues. Provide recommendations to address project performance gaps and ensure timely resolution.
- Resource Management: Collaborate with cross-functional team leads to allocate and optimize resources across projects. Monitor resource utilization and capacity, and make recommendations to ensure efficient resource allocation and availability.
- Stakeholder Management: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders. Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes. Ensure timely distribution of project status reports and key updates to stakeholders.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to project managers and teams regarding project management methodologies, tools, and processes. Serve as a central point of contact for project-related queries and escalate issues as necessary.
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management) or equivalent work experience
- 6+ years of relevant or direct experience within entertainment, streaming, studios or tech industry; preferably working in global roles
- Understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Certification in project management

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
