SRE and Engineering Operations Engineers in the team take part in every aspect of the software develop lifecycle. We work in a fast-paced environment, and are responsible for hands-on coding of critical system components. We have constructive design discussions, learn from each other, and use our experience to guide and teach. We work closely with privacy and security engineering teams to ensure that the products we build exceed expectations on both fronts. We also partner closely with quality and testing teams, and understand that their success is ours as well.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our dynamic team. As an SRE, you will be responsible for maintaining the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems, ensuring smooth operations while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your role will involve working closely with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to build and support highly scalable and resilient systems that deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Minimum Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or a similar role.
Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Proficiency in using monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, etc.
Solid understanding of SLOs, SLIs, and KPIs.
Experience in supporting and debugging applications within UNIX/Linux environments, using Java, code, Oracle DB, and Python Scripting.
Familiarity with security best practices, including authentication, encryption, and SSL/TLS.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with development, QA, and infrastructure teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation practices.
Ability to drive improvements in system resilience and performance while balancing operational and strategic initiatives.
Demonstrate proficiency with infrastructure as code (IaC), configuration management, and automation principles.
