As a member of Google’s Energy and Location Strategy (ELS) team, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a global organization. You will combine your creativity and knowledge with organizational skills and data-driven analysis to manage various initiatives that support the development and maintenance of Google’s data center fleet. The Infrastructure and Water Strategy (IWS) team plays a key role within ELS, which includes developing and procuring utility infrastructure, managing infrastructure projects, and driving strategic technical programs for our data center fleet.
As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of complex utility infrastructure projects. You will work closely with a worldwide network of stakeholders to ensure that all key players are coordinated on roles, responsibilities, and deadlines. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing project plans, tracking progress, and communicating status updates to stakeholders. In coordination with commercial, engineering, and operations teams, you will lead strategic water and wastewater utility infrastructure programs that build and maintain robust pipeline of capacity for our data center fleet.
You will be responsible for campus specific delivery of the following scope items from preliminary due-diligence through operation (e.g., Water supply and wastewater discharge techno-commercial strategy, Offsite water and wastewater infrastructure technical delivery strategy, Continual cost and schedule optimization against campus specific demand, Utility technical relationship management, Water and wastewater permitting coordination, Advanced utility project execution including feasibility, design, and construction, Internal metro and campus level coordination, Management of owner's program manager (OPM) vendor scope.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
