Minimum qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience designing process improvements that are tailored to the needs of specific projects.
  • Experience in ML life-cycle management.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a data driven analytical approach towards solving challenges.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Core ML is the central machine learning platform team that provides ML software tools, services, solutions, and infrastructure to all the Google product areas, including Search, Ads, YouTube, Cloud, Maps, etc. The team's goal is to make it easier to perform ML experimentation, development, and production.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage work streams encompassing detailed requirement gathering and risk assessment.
  • Work with researchers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize features and capabilities across various work streams.
  • Manage multiple interdependent projects.
  • Develop recommendations that translate into a course of action.
  • Design and implement build and operational processes that help the teams/organization scale.
