Description
In this role, you will drive large, cross-functional efforts to build technologies across Apple. Your ability to develop relationships and trust across system and module hardware and software teams will be key to your success.
You will drive feature definition, implementation and testing while engaging with algorithm, software engineering, embedded firmware, hardware, and testing teams. You will ensure tight inter-team coordination and communication
You will create development schedules, identify critical paths, and maintain throughout execution. You are able to grasp complex technical topics, identify risks and mitigation paths
You are able to synthesize various input and program risks into concise written and verbal analyses that enable decision making at the executive level
The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial approach to problem solving and have outstanding leadership skills built on a rock proven foundation of planning and risk management.
Minimum Qualifications
1+ years of technical program or product management, or a leadership role in a large technical project
B.S. or equivalent experience in engineering or related technical field
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of technical program management experience in consumer facing product development
M.S. or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
Knowledgeable of one or more technologies: embedded software, sensor systems, firmware, software, machine learning. Ability to dive into technical details
Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and leadership skills. Able to work with diverse teams and interact, influence, collaborate, and negotiate effectively at all levels of management
Self-motivated and proactive. Understand and deals well with a fast paced environment, while remaining calm and flexible in the face of uncertainty
Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles; remains flexible and calm in an environment of tight schedules and deadlines.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
