Description
As part of the Release management team which is at the core of all software development and operations, you will manage various types of software releases activities end to end.
Some key responsibilities include:
Manage software deployments and infrastructural updates in all lower to higher environments
Initiate, track and maintain high level and detailed release cutover plans
Collaborate with various teams for release planning and execution, to ensure smooth, efficient and successful releases, product launches and promotional campaigns
Interface across multiple disciplines with Engineering, Testing, Support, DevOps, PMO, Business teams and other partners as needed
Identify areas of improvement and drive initiatives to optimize release processes and reduce overall cycle times
Release related communication and status reporting

Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Release Management or Release operations or a similar role
Experience with Release planning, Scheduling, Cutover planning and coordination by collaborating across multiple teams
Strong understanding of Software version control, Environment Management, Change Management, Software Development life cycle, Continuous Integration and Delivery concepts
Preferred Qualifications
Aptitude for gathering insightful release metrics and reporting
Experience with preparing clear and structured documentation and effective presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple tracks and priorities with ease and efficiency
Strong interpersonal skills to influence, resolve conflicts and gain alignment across teams
Strong organizational and decision-making skills
Expertise in identifying risks and devising mitigation plans
Experience with managing transparent, comprehensive communication to all stakeholders and management
Must have good verbal and written communication skills
Meaningful l experience in solving triaging issues and leading root cause analysis for retrospectives
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
