Do you want to enhance Siri and Apple products' intelligence and create captivating experiences for our customers? Siri and Information Intelligence team assists hundreds of millions of people in finding the information they seek.
We are a group of engineers responsible for information intelligence at Apple. We build systems to connect Apple users to information as part of the wider Apple Intelligence initiative. You will work closely with our machine learning and product teams to deliver innovative features combining groundbreaking software and innovative ML techniques that can provide value to millions of users in Apple products.
Description
As a member of our fast-paced group, you'll have the unique and rewarding opportunity to shape upcoming products from Apple. Our team includes individuals with diverse backgrounds, including distributed systems engineers, software engineers with expertise in designing and managing real-time data ingestion pipelines, and applied machine learning engineers with a focus on ML and LLMs. We are looking for people with experience in creating rich user interfaces powered by sophisticated, high performance backend systems and candidates with applied machine learning experience systems.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors in Computer Science or related field
Proficiency in programming languages like C/C++, or Python.
Working knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms (arrays, linked lists, trees, heaps, etc.)
System Design – Understanding of scalable system design, databases, and caching strategies
Software Development & Engineering
Familiarity with coding best practices, debugging, and testing
Preferred Qualifications
Advance degree in Computer Science with focus on Algorithms, Data Structures, Machine Learning
Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures, including their design, analysis, and real-world applications (e.g., graph algorithms, dynamic programming, hashing, trees, and search algorithms)
Experience building complex software systems with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
