We are looking for an engineer to join the Intelligent System Experience team. You will collaborate with engineering, data engineering, product, design, QE and other cross-functional teams in order to drive logging and metrics work for the tentpole! You should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities, and have a passion for caring about Apple’s users!
Description
You will lead planning and implementation of metrics and logging strategy for the tentpole. That means that you will:
Collaborate with the engineering management, teammates, product, design, data engineering, QE and cross-functional partners to deliver on the metrics and logging strategy.
Lead software development work by writing code, answering questions and doing code reviews.
Provide clear, timely and objective communication.
Proactively identify issues and solutions, and marshal resources necessary to attack and resolve any issues related to your area of ownership.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience with instrumenting production code, including getting privacy approvals.
Excellent coding skills in any programming language and strong understanding of data structures.
Knowledge of technical system architecture and systems design tradeoffs.
Strong analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence.
Client side code development experience.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of software development experience.
