The Installation Technologies team is dedicated to building tools and services that facilitate the delivery of Xcode to developers and SWE. Description

In this role, you’ll design, write, maintain tools for installing Xcode and its components. You will contribute to the technical design and implementation of a system critical to the everyday work of software development. You will collaborate with your team and work cross-functionally to tackle problems and design beautiful solutions. You will evaluate technologies and strategies, understand customer needs, and ultimately implement solutions that enhance developer productivity and enable faster development. An ideal candidate will be able to drive development projects independently, collaborating with other teams to innovate and solve complex engineering challenges. They will iteratively develop and integrate solutions to these challenges. Minimum Qualifications

  • Significant native Apple platform experience in Swift or Objective-C
  • Experience designing and building Applications
  • Enthusiastic about continuous software delivery patterns
  • B.S. / M.S in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • A passion for driving modern software engineering practices
  • A strong desire to influence change
  • Intense focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Experience with SwiftUI or AppKit

Pay & Benefits

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
