Principal Engineering Manager – Defender for endpoint

We’re looking for a Principal Engineering Manager to lead a team of developers to design and build the next generation of endpoint protection. This includes championing fundamentals such as performance and reliability, scaling to platforms big and small, and driving foundational changes throughout the entire Defender stack.

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding with modern C++
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 5+ years engineering management experience 
• 6+ software development experience working in the Windows OS specifically with windows internals or kernel drivers. 
• Proven track record architecting and developing robust and extensible solutions  
• Experience with multi-threaded / parallel programming  

• 4+ years people management experience Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in modern C++.
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in modern C++.
  • OR equivalent experience.
