We are looking for an electrical engineer with image processing and sensing background to bring fresh perspective and integrate state of the art technologies into Apple displays. In this position, you will have a high-visibility role to deliver the world's best front-of-screen (FOS) experience on Apple products. You will design, prototype, and validate display module calibration algo., integrate measurement systems, data analysis and support new products ramping to mass production.

Description

Build advanced measurement platform for display module calibration and characterization. Design and implement new calibration features using sensing technologies, computer vision, and machine learning algorithms. Set up the measurement SOP to characterize the EE driving related display FOS issue. Perform lab level prototyping, issue quantification and analysis. Participate in cross function design reviews and address integration concerns. Author high quality engineering requirements and specification

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS and a minimum of 1+ years relevant industry experience
  • Experience with Image processing and sensing-related theories.
  • Experience with image processing and computer vision (CV) related tools, including Python, MATLAB toolboxes, and C++ libraries.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in display module calibration, such as luminance/color calibration, uniformity characterization, and display artifacts mitigations.
  • Experience with machine learning (ML) and computer vision modeling.
  • Experience in HW/FW development for display driving systems.
  • Familiarity with lab level EQ control and automation tools.
  • Hands-on lab experience with equipment such as camera, spectrometer and oscilloscopes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill.
