Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in technical/engineering program management.
• 5 years of experience in cross-functional collaborations with Business Leads, Engineers, or Product Managers.
• 3 years of experience in Deep Learning.
• Experience with change management within the Machine Learning and AI domain.
• Experience with project management, cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder influencing.

Preferred qualifications:

• 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience leading and executing strategic and operational initiatives for organizations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced evolving environment.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. You will act as a hybrid Chief of Staff and Technical Program Manager, requiring a strong understanding of both business operations and the rapidly evolving AI landscape.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the Cloud AI Leadership team, driving strategic planning and operational excellence. Drive the implementation of the Cloud AI technical strategy, with a focus on cutting-edge AI/ML advancements and trends.
• Develop and implement best practices for organizational success and growth, focusing on scalability and efficiency. Lead strategic initiatives related to organizational structure, process optimization, and resource allocation.
• Provide technical guidance and decision support on AI projects, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and Google's AI principles. Evaluate emerging technologies and their potential impact on Google Cloud's offerings.
• Provide direct support to the Cloud AI leadership team on high-priority and confidential initiatives, including preparing briefing documents, presentations, and executive communications. Facilitate executive meetings, ensuring clear agendas
• Lead cross-functional projects, managing timelines, resources, and risks to ensure successful delivery.
