Description
In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, building, and operating innovative data solutions that are not only scalable but also adept at applying various technologies and frameworks to meet our complex business needs.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and partners to support data modeling, analysis, and reporting needs.
Take ownership of individual platform components and help set the vision and architecture for it.
Identify requirements of new features, and propose design and drive the solution.
Use open source framework to build applications
Build generic and reusable solutions that can scale and use various technologies and frameworks to address complex business requirements
Building data warehouse solutions on cloud platforms, leveraging technology like AWS Redshift or Snowflake, and optimizing performance and cost for large-scale workloads
Minimum Qualifications
B.S in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or similar field or equivalent experience.
3+ years of industry experience in at least one or more of the following Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Dimensional Modeling, or Data Warehousing
ETL experience to design and build custom data pipelines using languages such as SQL, and Python
Experience in databases like MPP/NoSQL (Vertica, Snowflake, Redshift) to build metrics at scale
Experience in designing streaming data pipeline such as Kafka or Spark
Preferred Qualifications
M.S in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or similar field
5+ years of experience in architecting and building data warehouse solutions on cloud platforms, leveraging technology like AWS Redshift or Snowflake, and optimizing performance and cost for large-scale workloads
Experience with version control systems, CI/CD practices, testing, and migration tools for database and software
Experience in backend API development and management using Java
Proficiency in advanced SQL, performance tuning
Experience automate testing, data verification, and deployments
Ability to present and articulate key performance metrics to stakeholders and executives.
Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
