Description

The Siri UI/UX team is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to develop Siri’s next generation of natural interaction on some of Apple's most popular devices. This role requires someone with expertise in developing, launching, maintaining, and extending products. Ideal candidates have managed a high-output engineering team previously. They should be proficient in development best practices, comfortable working on large code bases, able to build tools and frameworks, and able to balance multiple projects and deliverables. Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years of software engineering management experience
  • Strong expertise in one programming language
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, with excellent expertise in Concurrency, Distributed Systems, and API design.
  • Expertise in Objective-c or Swift

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Knowledge of SwiftUI and willingness to learn more
  • Experience with performance engineering, analysis, and on-device optimization
  • Have contributed to shipping platform/products to production and supported/extended them post-launch
  • Strong communication skills to work well with cross-functional engineering teams
