Amazon Studios is the movies and television development and production arm of Amazon. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Development Executive to act as a leader on a large team focusing on wholly owned comedy and drama television. This position will focus on finding and curating talent and packaging this talent with original ideas and IP. This executive will supervise the development through the writing and production process, including business affairs, marketing and strategy. The position also involves helping manage the greenlight process for the Comedy/Drama creative team.”

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working with other departments such as casting, production, research, PR, business and legal affairs
- Experience overseeing all creative aspects of development production and post production
- 9+ years of creative executive experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working at a premium television network or a world-class production company
- Experience managing film and television development and production and ability to shepherd a project from idea to launch

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $165,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $273,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
