Microsoft Advertising Campaign UI team is the development team responsible for the front end web sites used by online advertisers to create and manage their millions of ad campaigns. This team has very strong focus on customer satisfaction. We are on an ambitious journey to build new generation of Microsoft Ads UI and analytical platform. As a Senior Software Engineer on the team, you will develop world class Web UI experience for our demand management platform as well as enable new Ads Product to advertisers. Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
 

Other Requirements:

Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements that are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Additional or preferred qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience with ReactJS and modern front end development environment is highly desirable.
  • Experience with data analysis and building metrics to measure business impact.
  • Interactive team member and communicator.
  • Experience with CS fundamentals, strong inclination for architecting at scale. Demonstrable technical design, problem solving and debugging skills.
  • Experience with data driven decision making, ability to build metrics to analyze business impact.


Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
