Apple is seeking a Business Development Manager to help us grow Apple Card. As our ideal candidate, you are dynamic and results-driven, and enjoy a fast-paced, results-first environment. This role involves participating in the end-to-end business development, including identification and screening of strategic partners, scenario analyses, and negotiating and closing commercial agreements. You have a high level of integrity, energy, and a sense of urgency, and balance the needs of multiple teams internally and externally alike.

Description

Develop, modify, and deliver on partnership vision in tandem with organizational and Apple-wide priorities Engage with cross-functional teams through all aspects of partner evaluation and case development, including consolidation of product requirements, commercial evaluation, internal alignment, negotiation, and contract processes. Partner with internal teams across product, engineering, finance, operations, and strategy to assess, influence, and deliver on product roadmap Recommend frameworks and commercial models, progress cross-functional workstreams, and evaluate go-to-market scenarios Align leadership teams internally and externally on prioritization of new opportunities and Apple and partner considerations

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of experience in payments
  • 3+ years of experience in consumer lending, credit card, or co-brand financial products
  • Proven experience identifying, evaluating, and delivering new products and features

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of consumer credit card and co-brand commercial structures
  • Strong analytical skills with high interest in evaluating new opportunities
  • Expertise building business cases, including strategy development and financial analysis
  • Ability to influence without authority, secure alignment internally, and drive decision-making cross-functionally
  • Passion for creating exceptional customer experiences
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop working relationships inside and outside of Apple
  • Collaborative self-starter who works optimally in fast-paced environments and is comfortable managing ambiguity while delivering projects to completion
