We are looking for a skilled and innovative Principal Software Engineer for the Azure Core Trusted Platform team with experience in building and operating cloud services at large scale. We leverage cutting edge Azure service, data, and machine learning technologies to build products that are widely used across Microsoft teams. We embrace inclusivity and diverse ideas – we use empathy, trust, and ownership to drive our team culture and deliver products in a quick and iterative manner. You will have the freedom to influence our designs and architectural roadmap and drive specific goals around security, compliance, scalability, and availability.

Software Engineering IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
