As a NAND Engineering Program Manager you will drive our storage solutions across next generation product lines. You will be part of a world class team of Engineers who identify and resolve potential risks for all aspects of NAND qualification, including close interaction with internal teams as well as external vendors. You will have direct impact on Apple's future products by ensuring world-class solutions to demanding challenges.
Description
In this highly visible role, you will manage:
- Setting technical strategy and executing on project schedules
- Handling component vendors to meet spec and schedule requirements
- Handling and presenting status of issues along the way
- Defining plans and working in a multi-functional team to ensure high quality NAND flash
- Development of milestones for component qualification to meet program schedules
- Ensuring ongoing vendor production quality and resolving production issues
- Supporting internal engineering teams in supervising component failure analysis
- Supporting of component qualification
Minimum Qualifications
BS degree
Experience with storage technology
Knowledge and understanding of high-volume manufacturing process
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of relevant industry experience
Experience with NAND memory technology
Track record of managing product definition and specification
Vendor management experience, including experience managing offshore vendors
Analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Technical background in product development or product management, architecture, process or packaging
Communication skills

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
