The Content Ingestion team is responsible for the inflow of content (e.g. audio, video) from Partners like Music Labels and Movie Studios. This role will work closely with Content Ingestion and with teams that have dependencies on Content Ingestion to drive cross-functional projects across Apple's Services. This role will also help lead strategic initiatives to modernize platforms and technology that enable partner and client teams to greatly improve the customer experience.
Description
In this role you will partner with software engineers and managers from the Content Ingestion team to define, schedule, and track the team's work, which often includes multi-functional initiatives. The environment is fast-paced with concurrent projects and frequent changes in priorities. You will be the central hub bringing together different teams across Apple Services and coordinating delivery on groundbreaking technology across all of our ecosystem.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years experience as a technical software Project or Program Manager
Strong experience in driving complex and multi-functional software projects and integrations
BS in Computer Science or related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience driving yearly and quarterly strategic roadmap planning
Previous experience in the realm of media ingestion and processing
Self-motivated and enthusiastic
Demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
Ability to build relationships and influence others
Excellent spoken and written communication skills including the ability to tailor communication style to multiple audiences
High attention to detail; ability to quickly adsorb terminology and understand dependencies across various technology stacks
Highly organized; proven track record of defining processes and establishing them
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $157,000 and $278,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
