DESCRIPTION

Prime Video is looking for creative and resourceful producer to join our growing team as a Associate Producer focusing on Sports. This job requires a self-starter who is capable of working with day-to-day guidance as well as working autonomously on projects. Reporting to a Coordinating Producer/Head of Talent, this role will wear many different day-to-day production hats: researching and pitching story ideas for on-air segments, video and graphics production, helping to create and manage a footage library, liaising with social and marketing teams, supporting other shows and producers on an ad-hoc basis, and various other tasks. Additionally, there will be team, workflow, and administrative support to aid in growing our small team and developing processes to make work easier and more efficient.

The ideal candidate is somebody that is a problem solver with a curiosity about sports production and the sports media landscape, who is looking to embrace new challenges and help be a foundational piece to the Prime Video live production team. You must be able to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and be excited by the opportunity to roll up your sleeves to build something new.


Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities

A self-starter who can help to establish production workflows across the board specifically in regards to creative and operational planning
Working with production and technical operations teams to help establish a media library and create best standard and practices
Pitching and executing creative concepts for our sports portfolio, often for multiple shows at once
Pitch ideas that innovate on live sports television, reflecting a path into the OTT era
Seek out gaps in planning, filling needs as they come to ensure a successful launch
Facilitate communication and ideas with external production partners and crew
Work with internal and external stakeholders for securing and cataloging media

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of budgeting, scheduling and cost reporting experience
- 3+ years of producer, production manager or line producer experience
- 3+ years of overseeing and managing projects and deadlines experience
- 5+ years of editing/writing in long form audio, long form magazine, or television/film experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with a variety of digital media workflows and post production
- Experience working directly with artists, songwriters, or other creative professionals

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $76,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $163,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
