The LiveOn team grew to enable unreleased products to be “lived on” by Apple employees outside of labs, networks and campuses. Our goal is to generate actionable data, surface issues along with gathering feedback so those that make the best products in the world can make them even better. You should have fluency across disciplines related to product design and the customer experience, though focused expertise in one area is also welcome. Comfortable in any environment, your presence reassures others and solicits unfiltered feedback. You should be technical and organized, but also extremely intuitive and empathetic, capable of expressing objective evidence through compelling storytelling, championing an improved product experience for people at every turn. Description

In this role, you will be involved in shaping future products at Apple. We stretch across the development process and interact with development teams, technology teams and a multitude of passionate employees out testing and reporting on unreleased prototype hardware and software.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS/MS degree in Engineering, Data or Human Factors or equivalent experience
  • 5+ Years experience in Hardware/Software/Services across: Computing, Services, Human Studies
  • Knowledge of product development (Hardware + Software)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Care..... meticulous attention to detail and the customer’s experience.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across diverse technologies/products in a dynamic, hands-on and creative environment.
  • A demonstrated ability to build user study programs, present research findings and recommendations to all levels of partners, including executive management.
  • Strong project management experience and a solid understanding of quality management specifically problem solving tools including design of experiments, root cause analysis and statistical analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of product development (Hardware + Software) and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent data presentation, communication and leadership skills
  • Comfortable in leading and communicating (verbal and written) with large audiences
