We are seeking a visionary Engineering Manager to lead a dynamic team in crafting next-generation, app-based experiences powered by an even smarter Siri. In this role, you'll drive innovation at the intersection of AI and user experience, empowering millions with intuitive, voice-driven interactions.
Description
- Drive Innovation: Lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge Siri experiences, leveraging the latest AI and machine learning advancements.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with multiple cross-functional (XF) teams to deliver complex, high-impact projects that redefine app-based interactions.
Navigate Ambiguity: Thrive in a loosely defined, open-ended space, bringing clarity to uncertainty and guiding your team toward groundbreaking solutions.
- Harness AI and LLMs: Explore and implement the potential of Large Language Models (LLMs), particularly in areas like LLMs as planners and agent/tool calling, to push the boundaries of Siri’s capabilities.
- Leverage Technical Knowledge: Utilize your understanding of the Siri technology stack and use cases, learning and growing alongside your team as you build unparalleled experiences.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience with API and protocol design
Demonstrated ability to engage and partner with multiple XF teams to deliver complex new technology projects
Demonstrated ability to handle uncertainty, to thrive and guide others in an open-ended, loosely-defined new space
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Siri technology stack and use cases
Knowledge of the Apple App ecosystem and types of apps available in the app store
Experience working with a broad set of app developers to deliver solutions on new technology stacks
Strong understanding of UI/UX paradigms
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $219,300 and $378,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
