The Partner Engineering Platform Team at Microsoft is at the forefront of helping partners deliver high quality devices and drivers. Our mission is to empower and support both internal and external engineering teams to improve Windows device quality and customer experience. Providing a link between the internal teams including feature teams and external partners to enhance collaboration. The Partner Engineering Team is hiring a Principal Software Engineering Lead to support this critical part of our business.
As a Principal Software Engineering Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the technical vision, strategy, and execution of our software engineering projects. You will lead a team of talented engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet our business objectives.

Software Engineering M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
