Azure Internet of Things (IoT) is changing the business landscape and Microsoft has emerged as a leading innovator in this field. The Azure IoT Hub Gateway team is the main entry point for most functionality exposed by Azure IoT Hub, consequently we are responsible for maintaining the connectivity from devices and solutions to Azure IoT Hub in a way that is secure, reliable, and infinitely scalable. Our team is at the center of most Azure IoT scenarios, which requires our team to be highly collaborative with partner groups inside and outside of Azure IoT.
Our team is looking for a software engineer II with experience building and shipping highly reliable, resilient, scalable, and mature cloud services. The candidate is a person with a proven track record of collaboration across teams and disciplines, who can identify and drive engineering improvements as well as delight customers with high-impacting features; somebody who can dive deep into technical challenges while providing clarity to peers and leadership.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications
o OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
