The Kernel Core team within the Core OS division work on the fundamental building blocks of the windows kernel. The team works on allowing the scheduler to deliver great performance the scales down to client hybrid cores and all the way up to multi-socket server machines with hundreds of cores. We enable new security features such as protecting control flow with hardware stack protection. We also maintain and develop such components as the windows registry, a variety of high performance synchronization primitives and the windows timers infrastructure. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to deliver on these key iniatives.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
