The Azure Edge + Platform (E+P) organization designs, builds, and operates the largest scale engineering system in the industry. We are building large scale systems by leveraging our experience and knowledge in distributed systems and hybrid cloud computing. Our services support the secure development and release of some of the most widely used products in the world!
The CloudVault team is responsible for managing storage, access, and retention of content produced in the Azure engineering systems through large scale, highly reliable services. These services bridge the gap between producers and consumers of content and are responsible for managing the content for its lifecycle.
We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join a diverse, agile team focused on delivering quality cloud based, scalable solutions in a thoughtful and flexible way. As part of this team, you’ll work on the largest scale engineering systems in Microsoft, learn in a fast paced and live-site focused environment, and deliver customer value with everything we do.

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
