The Devices Team within Developer Tools provides tools to develop software for Apple's innovative macOS, iOS, tvOS, watchOS, and visionOS platforms. Because tools are our products, the team has the unique and rewarding opportunity to apply personal experience to enhance and augment the tools they use every day. The Devices team is seeking a creative, motivated engineer to build foundational technologies that enable internal engineers and external developers to interact with devices, simulators, and virtual machines as part of the development process.

Description

As an engineer working on this team, you will be responsible for developing and improving applications and frameworks that engineers use every day as part of the build & debug cycle, manage device labs, and reliably implement millions of tests every day. You will work in a highly cross functional capacity with teams all across Apple including iOS Apps and Frameworks, Developer Tools, Build Engineering, Core OS, Hardware Engineering, CI Technologies, and more. You will contribute directly to the success of the Apple ecosystem by helping streamline the way our internal engineers and the developer community at large make amazing products for our customers.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • macOS App development experience with SwiftUI
  • Strong debugging and triage skills
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills

  • Excitement and passion to work on amazing products
  • Comfortable with rapid development cycles, tight schedules, and overlapping projects
