In this role, you will be a direct contributor toward the safety and user experience of charging Tesla vehicles. You will work on a variety of different aspects of embedded programming: interacting with high and low voltage systems as well as on-board and off-board charging system, designing and developing control systems, defining and implementing user interactions, and creating solutions for standardized charging communications across different regions globally. You will join a team of deeply knowledgeable and passionate engineers that strive to build the most robust and reliable embedded systems using cutting edge software development tools and practices. You will solve some of the most challenging problems in the embedded software space and change the way the world produces electric vehicles and delivers energy. The scope of this system includes small motor control, charging experience user interface design, high voltage safety concepts, electro-mechanical elements exposed to the environment, and communications / interoperability with external chargers with region specific charging standard with different communication media such as CAN, Power-Line-Communication (PLC). $120,000 - $252,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
