The Chassis System Software team is looking for a software integration engineer for actuator software development. A software integration engineer is a software focused generalist who is accountable for realizing production ready software for the chassis actuators that influence vehicle motion and dynamics using brake and suspension actuators. You will work with software developers, electrical integration engineers, and hardware design engineers to arrive at actuator requirements, conceptualize a hardware-software design, and realize the system for production. You will be challenged to develop a design that meets rigorous safety and performance requirements, passes a gauntlet of testing and validation that you help design, and can be manufactured and serviced at scale. You will be prototyping the embedded system and evaluating behaviors in various development environments, including in-vehicle tests at proving grounds. You will apply physics-based analysis to drive design decisions on the vehicle electrical architecture, microcontroller selection, software architecture, and the PCB.
If you are excited about working at the intersection of software, electronics, and mechanics, this is the role for you! Come join an industry-leading team that solves challenging problems that span safety-critical software, embedded systems, motor controls, electronic actuation, and vehicle dynamics.
