The Failure Analysis Team’s mission is to determine root cause and contributing factors to improve the experience of Tesla’s products by reducing field issues, in collaboration with large cross-section of other engineering teams. Engineers and Technicians on the team are responsible for a wide variety of vehicle and energy product systems for existing models and models in development. This role will support the team by completing both routine and non-routine CT scans of our various products.
Note: Typical work schedule: OVERNIGHT 7:00PM - 3:00AM
Setup and operate industrial CT and X-Ray systems (Machine specific training will be provided)
Produce high-quality radiographic and CT imaging to facilitate investigations
Document and communicate findings to internal customers
Communicate and perform basic machine maintenance of the X-Ray and CT systems
Provide input for the continued improvement of CT procedures
Strong computer and diagnostics skills
Ability to adapt to both large volumes of similar scans and low volumes of individual scans
Tolerance for ambiguity
Hands on experience with X-ray and CT preferred
Fundamental understanding of X-Ray and CT theory is preferred
Ability to lift 45 lbs.

$28.80 - $56.40/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
