What to Expect
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Silicon Bringup Regression Engineer to join our Autopilot Hardware team. As a Silicon Bringup Regression Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our silicon products by developing and executing regression tests to validate their functionality and performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, validation, and software engineering, to identify and debug issues, and ensure that our products meet the required specifications and quality standards. 
What You’ll Do
  • Develop and execute regression tests to validate the functionality and performance of silicon products, including CPUs, GPUs, and other complex SoCs

  • Collaborate with design and validation teams to identify and debug issues, and ensure that products meet the required specifications and quality standards

  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage of silicon products

  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks and tools to improve test efficiency and reduce manual testing effort

  • Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide recommendations for process improvements

  • Work closely with software engineering teams to ensure that software and firmware are compatible with silicon products

  • Participate in silicon bringup activities, including early silicon validation, debug, and characterization

  • Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure compatibility and interoperability of silicon products

  • Develop and maintain documentation of test plans, test results, and debug procedures

What You’ll Bring
  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of experience in silicon bringup, validation, or testing

  • Strong understanding of computer architecture, digital logic, and microprocessors

  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Python, Perl, and C++

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex issues

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git or SVN

  • Familiarity with Linux or other operating systems

    Expected Compensation

    $120,000 - $264,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
