Infrastructure Security Engineering under the Information Security organization is responsible for building and operating security capabilities to measure and continuously improve the security posture of our global on-premises datacenter infrastructure and public cloud footprint. Our on-premises IT infrastructure includes AI platforms that powers our AI endeavors. As a Senior Security Engineer, you will be expected to mature vulnerability management program. You will closely work with several internal teams to identify, assess, prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities across several platforms including public cloud, private cloud, Kubernetes clusters and AI platforms. You will actively participate in security reviews, risk analysis and security solution design.
What You’ll Do
Lead vulnerability scanning and assessment activities across a diverse technology environment & utilize various vulnerability scanning tools and techniques to identify and prioritize vulnerabilities
Perform root cause analysis of vulnerabilities and work with cross-functional teams to prioritize and implement effective remediation strategies
Track remediation efforts and ensure timely resolution of vulnerabilities
Evaluate the impact of emerging threats and vulnerabilities to determine, prioritize, and remediate
Build and operate DevSecOps tools to identify security vulnerabilities early in the development lifecycle
Automate vulnerability scanning, assessment, and reporting processes to improve efficiency and scalability
Perform malware assessment to identify and mitigate potential malware threats to the organization's systems and data
Collaborate with Security Operations, Detection, and Incident Response teams to develop detection signals and incident response playbooks / tooling to support their function
Develop and maintain documentations for security tools and solutions
Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability
At least 4+ years of experience working in a security team, with a focus on vulnerability management
Good understanding of vulnerability scanning tools (like Tenable, Crowdstrike, Prisma etc.)
Strong understanding of Linux security, defense-in-depth principles, and security standards such as STIG, MITRE, and NIST
Proficient in at least one programming language (such as Python, Go, or Java) with a deep understanding of GitOps principles
Strong working knowledge of SIEM tools, including Splunk
