That’s exactly what we do. We break Apple Silicon with our bare metal system level SW suite that runs mostly post-silicon, leverages pre-silicon and finds corner-case hardware bugs. Description
In this role, you will:
- Develop SoC and CPU directed and random tests
- Debug issues pre-silicon or post-silicon
- Develop and maintain system-level SW platform.
- Work with designers and architects to accomplish validation goals
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience in silicon validation software engineering or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- SOC and CPU knowledge
- Memory hierarchy
- Interrupt and DMA
- Clock and Power Gating.
- Voltage and Frequency controls
- C/C++ and Assembly language programming
- Experience with embedded programming with an understanding of hardware-software interfaces
