The team is searching for a self-motivating engineer for the role of Analog Layout Designer. As a member of the Analog Layout team, we will be working on the leading-edge technology nodes to build best-in-class custom analog designs used to connect our world-class products to the world as well as optimizing their performance. Description

As a member of the Analog Layout team, you will: - Design complex layout for mixed signal and analog circuits in a variety of deep sub-micron CMOS technologies. - Review and analyze floorplans and complex circuits with circuit designers. - Run a complete set of physical design verification tools. - Work with circuit and layout design teams to plan/schedule work and negotiate any necessary layout tradeoffs as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS degree in technical discipline with minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Full understanding of analog layout fundamentals, electromigration, IR drop, parasitics, etc.
  • Independently deliver layout designs beginning with initial floor planning and ending with fully verified, post-extracted layout (DRC, ERC, LVS, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong technical leadership and schedule management.
  • High proficiency in interpreting and debugging Calibre results.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Unix and CAD environments.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to drive/achieve consensus with external teams.
