Description
We're looking for a motivated engineer with excellent programming, problem solving and communication skills. In this role, you will contribute to Apple's firmware update solutions. We deliver a unified solution to the entire company. Working on this team will redefine your understanding of cross-functional. We deliver daemons, frameworks, certification test suites, command line tools and even the some bits of UI. And our code runs on everything. Programming languages we use on this team are C, Objective-C and Swift. You do not need to be an expert in all three to be successful. So long as you are proficient in at least one of them, and are confident in your ability to learn.
Minimum Qualifications
Programming experience in C, Objective-C or Swift
Solid OS fundamentals
Bachelors degree in CS/CE/EE or equivalent experience/skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing and developing production-level software
Strong analytical thinking
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Excellent spoken and written communication skills
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $115,700 and $204,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
