The display silicon applications team develops a deep understanding of the performance and capabilities of our portfolio of custom silicon to enable new display features, capabilities and products as well as prototypes of new display technologies. This is a phenomenal opportunity for a hands-on developer with a broad skillset who is willing to cover a range of roles and responsibilities related to FPGA, Modeling and Silicon Architecture and Usage.
Description
- Work with multi-functional teams to converge on display silicon functionality
- Use existing silicon and design FPGAs to prototype new display features or technology
- Specify Silicon Requirements and microarchitecture
- Work with vendors and other teams to deliver quality silicon and resolve any issues
- Support validation, generate and optimize silicon configurations
- Propose new features, capabilities, and performance requirements for new custom silicon
- Support teams using FPGA platforms, ASICs, and models.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering minimum with 5 years of relevant industry experience in EE, Silicon, or FPGA designs or applications
Experience with Digital Architecture, RTL Coding, Implementation, Verification, Debugging and Deployment
Experience with serial interfaces like SPI, I2C and high speed serdes IPs.
Experience with Scripting and Automation (e.g. Python)
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Electrical Engineer with 3 years of relevant industry experience
Experience with Silicon Architecture Modeling, and developing Silicon Chip level specs
Complete Chip Lifecycle experience
Knowledge of Board design, ability to specify requirements and review PCBs
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
