Meet Maya – a Happy Recruiter!

3 min read

Maya is a recruiter from the Bay Area, in the region’s technology-driven and highly competitive job market. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Berkley University and a Master’s degree in Organizational Development from Stanford University. Psi Chi member with several HR certifications.

She was an HR Coordinator in start-ups, a Talent Acquisition Specialist in Palo Alto, and currently works as a technical recruiter. Specializes in sourcing and hiring for technical positions in a dynamic environment. Proficient in ATS, employer branding, a true professional. She loves networking, meeting people, supporting beginners in new roles.

However, she increasingly felt overworked. There are now more applicants. They use artificial intelligence to improve their resumes. Typically, Maya received about 100 resumes in one job offer. Now it’s thousands. People don’t care what they send and who they send to. Maya selected 10 candidates and presented them to the client. She used Canva to generate her own resume style, with the company logo and key skills highlighted.

Joana, her friend from San Francisco, suggested that Maya try out AI tools that would make her life happier and easier. Maya started using the Resume Generator. She created her own corporate template and curiously experimented with JobMatching. For the client, Maya identified the key skills sought in candidates. She exported her resume from ATS and used the JobMatching “magic button”.

– I saved long hours that I usually spent generating resumes. JobMatching was extremely easy thanks to the “magic button”. I was quite skeptical about Artificial Intelligence in my job. I thought it was unnecessary. Now I will never replace MindPal tools with others – said Maya.

Now Maya is finally thinking about the holidays. She has a few minutes to browse top holiday destinations. She looks happier. Isn’t she?
